Wilburn Williamson Memorial Scholarship
The Oklahoma Trucking Association is proud to announce the 2010 Wilburn Williamson Memorial Scholarship.
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one qualified applicant chosen by a third party panel.The qualifications for the scholarship include:
Child or grandchild of an employee of an OTA member company
High school GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
High school Senior
Enrolled, or plan to enroll, at a university or college for the 2010 Fall semester (proof of enrollment will be required if the applicant is chosen to receive the scholarship)
All required documents including:
High School Transcript
1 page typed essay (Topic: Reasons Who or What Has Inspired You?)

Applications will be judged by a third party and only properly completed applications and documents post marked by the deadline will be considered.The winner will be notified by the Oklahoma Trucking Association after judging is completed.
This 1 day training seminar covers updated Haz-Mat transportation regulations to help you assess your compliance program and satisfy mandatory refresher training requirements. The course will teach definitions, general requirements, the hazardous materials table, shipping documentation, packaging & marking, labeling, placarding, loading & storage and emergency response. Get all of the answers from an established industry professional with over 18 years experience in intermodal transportation of Hazardous Materials. Fee is $250 per trainee.
This seminar meets the HMTUSA DOT training requirements; HM-126F, HM-181 and HM-235A. Individual DOT certificates will be issued to participants showing .8 CEU’s/PDU’s and 1.37 CM points.
